Grade "A" doors have never been dented in, cracked in the door latch area or rusted in the corners under the weatherstrip. When you turn it over and inspect it, the bottom seam it is not expanding from the inside out due to rust. There are no drilled holes for an after market impact strip and the sound deadener is usually still intact. Often times it will still bear the original paint but do expect multiple, small door dings. Used 6.5 litre Grade A (390) fender emblem for the Mercury Cougar. We rarely get these in fantastic condition and most of what we get looks like the one pictured on our grade B listing with several minor blemishes. Reproduction 6.5 litre (390) fender emblem for the Mercury Cougar. These were used on all XR7G models with an S or X code 390, on other Cougars they were used with the Cougars that came equipped with a 390, but without the GT option package. Unlike the originals these do not have mounting studs, but are firmly held in place with 3M VHT double sided emblem tape.

Our used center grill emblems will always have some amount of fade in the plexi area and if the backing has not separated from the rest of the emblem it often times will be lose. This is the correct emblem that came in the center of the hood moulding on a 1973 Standard model Mercury Cougar. It would not look out of place on an XR7 but of course would not be correct. These reproductions are fantastic quality! We sent NOS originals to Scott Drake to duplicate and they could not have done a better job. They come with the original type barrel clip fasteners and feature die cast frames with correct pin placement. These emblems are correct in every detail. We are really excited about these as it was said that they could never be done at a reasonable price without compromising quality. These are better than the $650-$750 NOS emblems you used to see occasionally...

Since our restored emblems look so good we have a hard time selling NOS these days which works out just fine as we only seem to be able to obtain 1 of these every few years. Keep in mind your used cores have trade in value against this NOS part. Casting number seen on back side for the assembly is C9WB-65517A56-A and black plastic is C9WB-65517C00-A, Casting number on chrome is C9WB-65517A20-A

These are NOS Mercury Cougar XR7-G dash emblems. The version supplied these days from the OEM supplier do not have as definitive of cross hatch pattern and the edges are not as sharp. Another quick way to discern between NOS and new when original packaging is absent is to look at the back side. The backing for the two sided tape on the reproduction uses green vinyl and the originals used a green paper. The most disappointing difference between the new emblems and these NOS Ford supplied...

These are sold as a pair and are of marginal quality. The material is much softer than original, the chrome is of a low quality and compared to original the detail is not nearly as crisp.

D0AE-9430-B 351-4V Cleveland factory original cast iron exhaust manifold for passenger side. At some point there may have been a D0AE-9430-G casting number used, which may be substituted as per the Master Parts Catalog. Same manifold 1970-1973. *351C-4V exhaust manifolds only match up to factory 4V intake manifold ports and some aftermarket aluminum intakes such as offered by Weiand and Edelbrock.

Excellent reproduction of the 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7-G exhaust tips. Copied from an NOS example, these are accurate in every way, even down to the Shelby Ford part number. This USED shroud was discontinued by Ford in the mid 1990's.
