This is a one year only, Cougar only part. I do not care what they told you down at the "Mustang Mega Barn", Cougar is different as it has mounting holes at the top and Mustang does not. The Mustang cover has no mounting holes at the top and resembles the 1970 cover. This nice used original part will have no broken tabs as seen on our grade 'B' version. This grade 'A' part will include two metal clip-on spacers as shown. 1970 is the only year 69-73 that Mustang and Cougar column covers interchange. You will need to paint this part to match your interior.

This used original part will have a broken tab so you will have to use a over-sized washer or some other clever means of properly attaching it to the underside of your dash. The reason we list them is that over the years many of our customers have been cutting out their vertical ribs on the 1967-68 Cougar tail light bezels to completely expose the tail lens.  These Shelby bezels offer a direct replacement clean restomod look without all the hassle of cutting up your valuable Cougar parts. Good used pair of taillights that includes two average grade "B" bezels and two used grade "B" lenses with backing plates. No obvious cracks in the lenses but there will be stress cracks that will only be found under close inspection. This two piece painted trim / moulding set helps to secure the package tray in place at the bottom of the rear window. Our used pieces taken from parts cars usually need to be painted but sometimes will pass as is for a driver quality car.
