    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

Driver side stainless steel weather strip retainer for 71-73 Cougar and Mustang convertibles. This retainer screws to the windshield pillar post and holds the weather stripping for the front of your door window glass. Plan on replacing the weatherstripping. There is also the companion lower aluminum retainer listed on our site.

These used stainless pieces generally polish up very well with 0000 steel wool. The little black plastic coated clip will be compromised due  to age and heat.

    Replaces Ford part number D1ZB-7602565.

    Question
    Customer Asked:
From looking at the pictures of this trim piece it looks to be in good shape. Is there any unseen damage to it that would cause a problem with putting on a new weather strip? I am particularly concerned with the most upper end of the trim piece.

    Answer
    WCCC Admin Answered:
The piece in the picture is probably not the part you will receive. On used items we take a picture of a part that represents what you should expect to receive, but that part pictured in most cases has already been sold. We do not retake pictures every time an item sells. The part you receive should be undamaged other than some surface scratches.
