This is a freshly rechromed / plated pair of used xr7 convertible boot trim mouldings. Set includes a pair of polished stainless rear trim parts as well as the aluminum parts that the 1/4 window (belt-line) weather strip attaches to. Prior to being restored these parts were good used parts, not heavily pitted parts. We have found that this 3M product works for bonding the aluminum strip that mounts the weatherstrip in place. Keep in mind the price shown here goes down substantially if you have one or more extra (in addition to the complete set from your car) good quality cores to trade in. If you have xr7 cores to sell lets us know! The casting numbers as seen on the bottom of these boot moulding, hockey stick shaped trim is C9WB-76423A18-B and C9WB-76423A19-B. The two stainless trim parts that are on the deck lid side have no markings and are the same parts as found on the 69-70 Mustang and standard Cougar. *NOTE* These xr7 trim parts are longer than what was used on the Mustang and Standard Cougar so as to mate up with the stainless trim on the doors.
