Used lower steering column knuckle for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This unit is used in the 1970-73 tilt only column and can be the issue when you have a sloppy feeling tilt column. The hard steel pin will often waller out the soft cast metal and cause play in the column. This is the closed cell foam cover for your power steering lines to keep them from getting scuffed, and they repel oil quite well too. These are always disintegrating on the older cars and need replacement after 40 years of service. this line length can be cut to fit easily on a split line like the Cougar. This is a restored 1968 steering wheel that is correct for all but the later production, standard interior equipped 1968 Cougars. Only the XR7 & XR7G received the woodgrain center section, the decor and standard interior equipped Cougars received a color coded to the wheel vinyl insert. Brand new WCCC exclusive! These 1967-only steering wheel center emblems have been needed for some time. Most originals are faded, scratched, and often warped or broken. These new ones fit perfectly in your original center pad and look great. Our video below shows how to replace the trim ring, along with this center emblem

Please email us for color on hand, rarely do we have more than one grade A in stock. Grade A will have almost no warping or lifting issues, soft and pliable and will not need repaint. Very hard to find, one year only part.

Good used pad available in most colors, please let us know which color you need in the comments section and we will try to accommodate. Grade B pads will be lifting at the top, be a little warped and have some missing texture where your thumbs often ride at 3 and 9 o'clock.

Not the best fit, texture is incorrect. Guaranteed disappointment, no returns on this item please.

Average condition with no obvious blems, but will show substantial fading. A perfect replacement for our woodgrain Burl wraps if yours is caved in or corroded and nasty looking. Check out this video
