Note: Not for use with aftermarket radios. Finding correct radio knobs for a 1968 Ford Mustang or Mercury Cougar equipped with a center console has been a huge obstacle for decades now. This is a radio nut removal tool used to remove the radio shaft nuts. No more trying to remove those little units with the wrong tools and potentially damaging your bezel or dash. These are made from HRS steel and are milled to fit the shaft nut perfectly.

Used cigar or cigarette lighter threaded retainer with ground lug. Fits any 1969 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with factory installed console. The ground lug is needed for the heating element in the socket. The consoles are made of plastic and use the common socket designed for steel dashes. This retainer is part of C9MB-15055-A socket and retainer assembly.

Used steel rear retaining bracket for the headlight switch on any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These are bare steel and will have a bit of flash rust as shown, nothing serious. Replaces Ford part number D1ZB-13B107-AC.

Angled cup or retainer, used with the wiper switch, it locates and maintains the angle to the dash from behind. 1969 and 1970 are different, obvious when you realize that the flat spot is indexed differently between the two years. Ford part numbers: DOZZ-17C491-A, D0ZB-17C491-A.

This aluminum backed, tar sound deadener with adhesive is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick and works well behind door panels, at the firewall and under the headliner as a sound, heat and vapor barrier. One sheet required per door. Cut to fit, then remove paper backing to reveal adhesive, and stick in place. Good used lens that has not gone milky from over exposure to the sun. Used only on the 69 - 70 XR7 speedometer. To get these lenses looking new you will have to use a three step plastic polish like Novus or Meguires plastic polish. If your lenses are cloudy or swirled looking this will not come out as it is internal.

New for December 2024! After a long wait these dash bezel kits are finally in production and hopefully will be in hand by Christmas (or shortly thereafter). As the seasoned Cougar owner will quickly point out, there are several differences between the 1967 and 1968 Standard dash bezels. We have chosen to take the best elements of both years and combine them into one set as tooling to do both would be cost prohibitive. This is a one year only, Cougar only part. I do not care what they told you down at the "Mustang Mega Barn", Cougar is different as it has mounting holes at the top and Mustang does not. The Mustang cover has no mounting holes at the top and resembles the 1970 cover. This may just be the most delicate part found on a 69 Cougar and is just behind good used interior sail panels in scarcity. This nice used original part will have no broken tabs as seen on our grade 'B' version. This grade 'A' part will include two metal clip-on spacers as shown. 1970 is the only year 69-73 that Mustang and Cougar column covers interchange. You will need to paint this part to match your interior.

This used original part will have a broken tab so you will have to use a over-sized washer or some other clever means of properly attaching it to the underside of your dash. This grade be part will not include the metal spacers seen on our grade 'A' part.
