Good used lens that has not gone milky from over exposure to the sun. Used only on the 69 - 70 XR7 speedometer. To get these lenses looking new you will have to use a three step plastic polish like Novus or Meguires plastic polish. If your lenses are cloudy or swirled looking this will not come out as it is internal.

This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This fine example was offered up on ebay summer 2008 for a mere $6500.

According to the Master Parts Catalog (MPC), any Cougar with a 3.91 or 4.11 rear end and a 4 speed manual would have been equipped with this reducer. Boss 302 and 428 Cobra Jet engines were the only cars that could be ordered with those rear end ratios.
