Our takeoff or takeout transmissions are generally from long parked Cougars that have sat neglected for several years or more. A transmission is described as an undamaged case, tailshaft, with all internals. It will not include the following ? shifter, shifter mounting plate, shift rods, backup switch or wiring, bellhousing, clutch or pressure plate, mount or crossmember, or yoke. It will be a used bare transmission like you might find at a swapmeet.
