Used corner cut from a 1971-73 Mercury Cougar. This would be the driver side where the quarter extension and bumper filler mount. For 1968 Ford standardized or changed all of the J-bolt threads to the beefier 1/2"-13. We have noted two variations of this wing nut. The most obvious identifier between the two is the tabs in the center. The majority have these tabs present, the minority do not.
