Grade "A" doors have never been dented in, cracked in the door latch area or rusted in the corners under the weatherstrip. When you turn it over and inspect it, the bottom seam it is not expanding from the inside out due to rust. There are no drilled holes for an after market impact strip and the sound deadener is usually still intact. Often times it will still bear the original paint but do expect multiple, small door dings. Stamped steel floor pan drain caps used to plug oval holes in the front or rear floors. Economy grade reproduction floor pan plug that closely resembling the originals. Complete with rough stampings made from galvanized steel.

This shim, also referenced to as washers, goes in the clutch portion of the drive gearbox to properly adjust the friction. Three shims (plus a hand crank) were originally supplied with sunroof cars.

Hook bracket weld in retainer for the rear seat installation on any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar. This is the front bracket that holds in the rear seat and was used on both coupes and convertibles. Sold individually, two required per car. We cut out a section of the floor under the rear seat as shown.
