Rare find, NOS rubber rub strip for the front bumper guard on 1971-72 Mercury Cougar. These hard rubber bump strips attach to the front bumper guards with 2 studs from the back side. Sold individually, right is the same as left, Ford Casting number as found on the back is D1WB-17A812-AB

D3AZ-17A812-A Front bumper guard rubber pad used prior to September 5, 1972, on a 1973 Mercury Cougar. The early front bumper guards had a narrow rubber pad early on. The rear flat surface measures 3/4 inches wide. Same rubber strip either right or left side. Hard to find without some scaring on the rubber. This pad is not nearly as common as the wider one which measures about 1-1/8 inches wide.Replaces Ford part number D3AB-17A812-A.
