We highly recommend restoring our rust free Western hinges over using reproduction hinges. The main reason the originals are better than the Taiwan made reproductions is fit. If there is anywhere in which you want a precision fit it is in the hinges. These hinges have not been worn to the point of being "hogged out" and have been carefully inspected for cracks. You will want to purchase a new hinge pin and 2 bushings though. Check out our hinge rebuild video below for more info. ...

Most times when your door sags you do not need new hinges but rather pins and bushings. If your holes are reemed or "hogged out" you will need to buy new hinges or our good used hinges that come with new pins and bushings. Reproduction rubber bumper for your 67 - 73 Cougar or Mustang door latch mechanism. The bumper sits on the inside of your door latch mechanism, and is there to dampen the blow from the striker when you close your door.

These are the screws that secure the door latch mechanism to the door shell. These screws come with the attached crown headed lock washer, just like the originals, so be sure to tighten them down snugly to ensure that the screw head sits flush into the screw holes. Sold individually. Three required per door, six per car.
