*NOTE - These knobs are NOT in the original Ford packaging, they were bought in bulk from a supplier who did not provide packaging. This style of knob was used on almost all Ford products starting in 1968 and continuing on through the late 1970's. The latest renditions in reproduction form are actually pretty good but for the purist these make a nice touch. Exact replacement inside door handle nut, trunk lock nut, and hood scoop nut. Same finish as originals. 10 of these are used to mount the 68-71 hood scoop found on the 68 428 CJ, 69-70 Eliminator, 69-70 428 Ram Air equipped Cougars and 71 GT and 429CJ. Two of these per door are used on the 69-70 inside door release. Two of of these nuts used to attach 1967-68 Cougar trunk locks.

Correct style nut with captured washer for attaching hood scoops, 1969-70 Mercury Cougar inside door handles, and 1967-68 trunk lock. Correct nuts would have been black phosphate, these are shiny gold as shown.

Used locking pawl for the 1970 - 1979 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang that is equipped with a factory tilt steering column. This unit works in conjunction with a pin and is responsible for locking the tilt column in place. In many cases, the pin tends to move out of place and break or chip the teeth of the locking pawl. We have found that 3 of 4 tilt columns that we have disassembled have locking pawls with broken or chipped teeth. These units will be mint with no broken or chipped teeth....

Rod used for locking the C-6 transmission in "Park". Connects to the lower tab of the steering column and the C-6 transmission shift arm. Prevents the transmission from shifting out of park when the ignition key is removed. Rod is about 13 inches long and was originally marked with a red paint mark or daub. Casting number stamped on the rod - D1ZA-7E330-BA. The C-6, automatic transmission, could be ordered with any engine from 1971 - 1973. Transmission code "U" on your door data tag.

Short rubber valve stem and cap for Ford wheels or any steel wheel with a 0.453" hole. Snap in style, sticks up 2 inches from wheel surface. These will work with all of our aftermarket Ford wheels especially with trim rings. These have the Dill 627 caps. Same as the 1960's cars.

This part is installed on all XR7 fuel sending units and Cougars and Mustangs with the optional Convenience Control Package. Low quality off shore part that requires soldering to your fuel sending unit. This is a temperature sensing device that activates when the fuel level drops enough to expose the unit at which point the circuit is closed and the low fuel light comes on. Commonly referred to as a Thermister / Thermistor / Low Fuel Sending Unit.

Set of two polyurethane bushings that insert into the rear side of the lower control arm. This set contains two bushings that measure 1 9/16 across the leading inside edge, and 1 5/8 across the outer rim.Note: These larger diameter bushings were used on Ford service replacement lower control arms. Typically found on Ford supplied lower control arms without the welded on jacking tabs.

These little rivets are used to affix the ID tag to the passenger side of the 3 and 4 speed top-loader transmissions. Most tags are held in place by two rivets but on some only two are used from the factory.
