Very nice reproduction of the D0ZZ-15525-A 1970 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang 4 speed backup light wiring harness, with the factory installed Hurst shifters. Plugs into the backup lamp switch and connects to the harness plug on the firewall behind the engine.

Used on both 351 2V and 4V motors equipped with the C6 transmission. Approximately 26-1/2" with red color code. The comparison picture with two rods side by side are the 71 - 73 FMX and C6 rods. *NOTE* Many assume the C6 was only available with a 351 equipped with a 4V but in fact you could get a C6 with a 351 2V in 1971 - 1973.

According to the Master Parts Catalog, this rod was used on all 1969 Cougars equipped with a C6 transmission which includes the 390IP / 428CJ / 428SCJ. Our research and in hand examples off original Cougars would differ. Because of the different intake manifold used on the 390, Autolite carburetor vs. Holley and different exhaust manifolds we have found that the 1969 390 IP / C6 is distinctly different than the 428CJ and stands on its own by not interchanging with any other Ford product. ...

This rod was used on all Cougars 1971 - 1973 equipped with a 351 and FMX transmission both 4V and 2V. Approximately 27" Black color code.

This reproduction rod is made from stainless steel and weighs slightly more than the original.

This rod is correct for the 351 Cleveland 2V only and is approximately 27". A red paint daub was found on this rod, by trying to expose it with steel wool, it was almost erased. This would explain why we rarely find rods with the original paint daub in place. Slightly shorter than the 4V rod and has a lower connection point to the carburetor.

This one year only rod is correct for the 351 Cleveland 4V and is approximately 27". This rod originally had a light blue paint daub near the carburetor. It is a little longer than the 2V rod and connects to the carburetor at a slightly higher point.

Unique to the 1970 351w with FMX. Originally came with a light blue paint daub at the top.

Used on both 351w 2V and 4V FMX transmissions in 1969. Approximately 17-1/2" long with a black color code paint daub on the end closest to the carburetor. This is not correct for any 1970 Cougar equipped with a 351 Cleveland or Windsor motor. *NOTE* Although the MPC lists this part as 1969 only it does in fact apply to the 1970 Cougars equipped with the 351 Windsor two barrel motor. This one piece lens was used only on the XR7 model Cougar from 1971 - 1973. This lens will not be cracked or overly "milky" looking from over exposure to the sun. This lens will need to be hand polished to get the fine scratches out. Check out this video of our Gauge Tester

Good used lens that has not gone milky from over exposure to the sun. Not for use on the XR7 speedometer or clocks found on the XR7 or Standard models. To get these lenses looking new you will have to use a three step plastic polish like Novus or Meguires plastic polish. These clips are used to hold the lenses in place on your cluster. Sold as a set of three.

Ford calls this part a 'mask'. This clamps to the chromed lever and holds the socket and bulb that are attached to the neutral safety switch, which are the shifter indicator light for the floor shifter. This cast piece will not have stripped treads or be corroded. It also fits 1971 and newer Maverick and Comet with floor shifters only. Ford part number C9ZZ-7B052-A.
