Vacuum / electric tilt away solenoid for the 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. These vacuum tilt solenoids are tested and guaranteed to work. When bench testing the 1967-69 tilt away release solenoid, verify that there is continuity between the two electrical spade connectors. This is a plastic cushion, washer and/or spring between the lower knuckle and inner tube on a 1968 - 1973 tilt-away steering column. Used wiring cover for the tilt / tilt away steering column found in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Unique to the 1968 and 1969 tilt column, fixed column version will not fit on a tilt without modification. Ford part number C8ZZ-13376-A or C8ZZ-13376-B.
