1968 Fixed Steering Column and Related Parts

One year only bracket used on both fixed and tilt column cars.

Lower steering column mounting bracket. 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Right and left halves with original fasteners. Rubber gasket sold separately.Ford part number C7ZZ-65017A50 and C7ZZ-65017A51.

This used upper column bracket bolts to the brake pedestal bracket under your dash. The two threaded studs face downward and are used to attach the lower column bracket.

Used Emergency Flasher Knob Bezel / Fixed Column for the 1967 - 1969 Mercury Cougar / 1967 - 1969 Ford Mustang 

Correct nut that is designed not to come undone.

Reproduction rag joint for the fixed steering column in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This assembly is for the fixed column only and will not work for the tilt / tilt away steering column. Our reproduction rag joint comes assembled with the lower splined casting. 

Good used part without excessive rust or damaged rubber. For use with fixed column only.

Fixed steering column from a 1967 Mercury Cougar. Reasonably rust free column that ships as shown in picture. Often we will leave the turn signal switch in place, but you should count on it being non functional. This steering column will fit a Mustang, but you must change steering boxes. Most 1967 Mustangs came with the steering box with the long spear. Upper and lower mounting brackets, and rag joints are available, but sold separately.

Good used turn signal stalk with no rust or peeling chrome. The 1970-73 with tilt column used a stalk with an additional plastic bushing near the base. This is my favorite Cougar - Mustang - Shelby option of all time! In fact as a rather tall person that is not as slim as I once was, I do not really enjoy daily driving a Pony car that does not have this option.
