In order for you to install with the 1971-73 Cougar installed metal frames, you will need to remove the locating pin on your D1AB-15A467-B window bracket with a Dremel or similar. This lid is about 17-1/2 inch in diameter. Identified by the wagon wheel like spokes in the stamping. 1967 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 289 engines. Additionally this lid was used for the Canadian export Cougars and Mustangs in 1968, they continued to use the open emissions system. Nice clean lid with no holes or other noticeable damage.
