These inserts snap into your window elevators, four per elevator, eight per door for a total of 16 per car. Often the originals are worn down from lack of lubrication which will cause your door glass to rattle. The originals were more of a clear plastic, these are white in color. Spare Tire Mount Wing Nut Reproduction for the 1968 through 1973 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

For 1968 Ford standardized or changed all of the J-bolt threads to the beefier 1/2"-13. We have noted two variations of this wing nut. The most obvious identifier between the two is the tabs in the center. The majority have these tabs present, the minority do not. We also stock and carry the correct disc or hold down plate, and the J bolt. Lots of sizes and lengths for those. Do you have the correct one?

Small retaining ring that secures the engine gauge feed wiring harness to the driver side valve cover. Two were used per engine. We found this part in the 1971-72 Mustang Electrical Assembly Manual. To be used with original wiring harnesses, the reproduction engine gauge feed harness does not have the clips to attach to this retainer.Ford part number D2AB-14A163-MA.
