This plastic cover was put in place to cover the void at the very top of the panel. They are side specific and the textured side is installed upwards, on the bottom side you will find the Ford engineering number C9ZB-7654607-A and are marked L.H. for the passenger side.

This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.

Used vacuum hose for the steering column release valve used in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with the tilt / tilt away steering column. Regular vacuum hose can be used to replace this hose if you are missing the original. However, it will not be correct. This nice original FoMoCo hose has the correct ribbing, stripes and comes with the firewall grommet. If you are missing this piece and you want your car to be right, this is a must have.
