D0ZZ-15520-A Backup lamp switch that mounts to the factory 4 speed shifter linkage. 70 71 72 73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang applications. Autolite or Motorcraft switch number SW-943. Used with OEM installed Hurst Competition shifters. *Note - 4 speed switches are different than the manual 3 speed switches.

High quality alternative to the expensive OEM switch. If you have an early 67 the plug may be the dual type which is also listed on this site. This will work with your C-4 or C-6 automatic transmission. The only real difference is that this switch does not come with the FoMoCo logo or part number on it. Found on cars before build date 12/1/1971.Look for a transmission code of U on your door data plate.
