Straight Monte Carlo Bar in a black finish for Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. The Monte Carlo Bar was originally developed by Carroll Shelby to help maintain proper wheel alignment under hard cornering. Not only will this item help stiffen the notoriously flexy front end, it will also help reduce the chances that your shock towers will develop stress cracks over time. These are the U-shaped brackets that hold the round part of the rear sway bar. These mount to the rear frame rail. All 1970 - 1973 Cougars should have these mounting holes from the factory, 1969 and earlier Cougars do not have these holes. Two clamps needed for installation.

The Competition Handling Package was available optionally on any 1971- 1973 Cougar. D2ZZ-5482-A Factory used front sway bar found on most H-code (351-2V engine) Cougars 1971 1972 1973. Originally marked from the factory with 3 Yellow, and 2 Yellow - 1 Red paint marks. C7ZZ-5482-B This is a factory used front sway bar. This is the same size 3/4 inch diameter as the 289 and 302 sway bar but has a slight difference in the bends for the 1967 390-4V or 6.5Liter engines. This bar was factory identified with a One-Yellow and One-Blue paint stripe. This factory used front sway bar, does not include any mounting brackets or end link kits.

Complete used kit as taken off of a clean Western Eliminator or 1970 Cougar equipped with competition handling package. This factory applied paint daub was to remind the line worker that this side was the passenger side. The bolt measures 11 1/2" long total width and the spacer measures 7" long.  These are both longer than what you would find on a 1970 Mustang. Application; 390, 427, 351CJ, 428CJ, and 429CJ all with C6 transmission. 428CJ and 429CJ 4 speed transmissions. 1970 351C-4v with FMX.U-joint size 1330, overall length 8-3/4 inches.

This would be for the non-competition suspension Cougars. U-Bolt length 7 inches, and threads 1-1/4 inch in length. U-Bolts include two (2) correct style attaching nuts 7/16-20 threads. This size of U-bolt seems to be the most common found on Cougars, no matter the leaf pack stack.  Ford part number C7WY-5705-A. Standard suspension U-Bolts run about 6-3/4 inches in length, see related items.

This reproduction universal joint fits the differential end of the drive axle and is used on all Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustangs equipped with the 289, 302, 351 Windsor as well as most 351 Clevelands (see chart). Includes a grease fitting for extended life. 3.25" span cups are 1.12" and 1.00" diam. Replaces Ford part # C3AZ-4635-F.

Special zerk fittings with extra long extensions. Allows easy access to hard to reach zerk fittings. Helps solve squeaky upper control arms.

Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles. Fits Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang 1967-73.  A (5/16" inside diameter) rubber hose about 18-1/4 inches long attaches to the nipple. Has a very tiny diameter hole inside, about 0.062".
