This actually is a pretty impressive part once installed if your expectations are not overly high. It fits snug (very tight) over your existing cracked dash and you affix it by putting silicone around the perimeter. Once in place the obvious indicators of it not being original are the lack of simulated stitching on the leading edge and the larger perforations for the center speaker. This used part comes carefully cut from a parts car and will include all mounting tabs. It is slightly different from the Mustang version as it has a different contour where the dash pad attaches. Replaces Ford part #C8AZ-6223362-A. Sold in pairs, four required per car, used on most Ford products. We often get calls like "How do I remove my front window cranks?" Unlike the rear cranks that are held on by an Allen set screw, the fronts have a Phillips screw under this decal. If you are careful, often you can reuse your original and glue it back in place.

Used diffuser for the shift indicator lamp. This diffuser is used on the Cougar or Mustang WITH a console and attaches to the end of the light socket on your shift indicator wire harness. Both shift indicator lamps with or without a console used the same wire harness and socket, but used different diffusers. The difference in the harness from the 67 to the 68 was different colored wires and different plugs. Replacement bulbs can be found on our site as well. ...

Used diffuser for the shift indicator lamp. This diffuser is used on the Cougar or Mustang WITHOUT a console and attaches to the end of the light socket on your shift indicator wire harness. Both shift indicator lamps with or without a console used the same wire harness and socket, but used different diffusers. The only difference in the harness from the 67 to the 68 was different colored wires.

Made from clear acrylic plastic with prisms added to increase the bulb brightness.Ford originally used white nylon with no prisms, which makes the light very dull. Replaces Ford Part # D1AZ-13783-B.
