Designed for optimum AM/FM reception. Excellent solution where a conventional antenna is not desirable (ie you do not want the antenna sticking out of the top of your fender), or when you want a power antenna or just better reception without having to replacing the factory antenna with a non-original looking antenna. Allows for complete removal of factory antenna or for the factory antenna to be disconnected and left in place to maintain the factory look.
