Personally, for the money, I would prefer a good used original copper tubed coil over a cheesy import that uses aluminum. That is because the aluminum is way more prone to corrosion when compared to the copper unit. Regardless of which V-8 engine, C7ZA-19972-E is the correct part number. This hose is approximately 20 inches long. Two different crimped ends, smooth and waffle may be the difference between Dearborn and San Jose or 1967 and 1968. Anyone know?The Ford MPC number is C7AZ-19972-A.

There are 2 manufacturers of these hoses and many places will call them a "concours" hose. Neither manufacturer make an exact replica of the original sight glass hose. The finish of the hose does not match, but the most obvious difference is that the sight glass itself has a hexagon shape instead of a square shape. If you would prefer a good used original, give us a call, we can usually dig one up for you. This is a very rare find. "Grade A" 1969 XR7 / Shelby only, crack free original lid. Grade A will exhibit minimal loss of texture and will still be pliable. Notice how the three humps stand taller and rounder than the reproduction. Limited colors on hand, please let us know which color you desire and we will try to accommodate.
