C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

These are about half the weight of originals and do not look correct in any way. They are far better than nothing. Front retractor bolt, used in conjunction with two rubber spacer / washers and one washer. The two rubber washers go on either side of the re-tractor mounting hole and the metal washer is against the inner rocker.

Inner front bolt, long length to clear sound deadener. Used in conjunction with a thick, gold spacer washer.

Rear seat belt bolt, four per car used in conjunction with two red washer / spacers. 13/16" hex head, 1-1/4 inch bolt with a 3/16 inch shoulder. Can be either smooth headed or have a Heavy or Light "A". There is another version of this same bolt with a smooth head and no markings.

Bolt for mounting thermactor smog pump to engine. Must be used in conjunction with thermactor alternator bracket and pump spacer. Bolt dimensions 3/8"-16 x 5.75" long.

AMK fastener kit for attaching manual transmission clutch Z-bar brackets. 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 390 or 428CJ engines. AMK number F-473.

Measures 3/4" tall with a captured lock washer. These were removed from 1969 and 1970 428 Cobra Jet Fans. More research is needed before we can conclusively post the interchange and application details on these bolts. Would love to hear what you have found on your original Cougars equipped with a fan clutch.

Used mounting bracket from a 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with factory installed air conditioning. This is the tab that is riveted to the blower housing, the stud goes through the firewall. Bracket with stud only, no other hardware included. Normally this will ship with the old fiberglass remnants still riveted to this bracket. Same bracket at 1967-68, but with a longer stud.

Used air compressor to intake manifold tubular steel bracket. Connects and supports the rear of the air compressor to the factory intake manifold. From what we can tell, there is no difference from 1967 to 1968 pieces.Ford part # C8ZZ-2889-A
