Exact replacement inside door handle nut, trunk lock nut, and hood scoop nut. Same finish as originals. 10 of these are used to mount the 68-71 hood scoop found on the 68 428 CJ, 69-70 Eliminator, 69-70 428 Ram Air equipped Cougars and 71 GT and 429CJ. Two of these per door are used on the 69-70 inside door release. Two of of these nuts used to attach 1967-68 Cougar trunk locks.

Correct style nut with captured washer for attaching hood scoops, 1969-70 Mercury Cougar inside door handles, and 1967-68 trunk lock. Correct nuts would have been black phosphate, these are shiny gold as shown.

This kit includes the 4 fine threaded "T" shaped studs (with nuts) that mount the backing plate to the spindle and the plate that goes on the inside of the backing plate. These are used parts that are not damaged or corroded, taken from a Western parts car.

This is a 100% accurate reproduction down to the captured lock washer and black Zinc coating. The only difference is that these are made from a substantially better grade of steel than the originals. New pan head screws for installing the automatic console shifter bezel. Sold as a set of 4. Used in conjunction with the 3 metal strips to attach the automatic shifter bezel. Correct black pan head Phillips screw. *HINT - The metal strips can be made from any strips of steel, they don't really need the edges folded if you don't cinch them down too tight. This plate attaches the 3/8" steel fuel line under the driver's side rear torque box, as it makes its way from the rear frame rail out to the rocker area. It acts both as a mount and as a protector from road debris. These were used on late 1967 to 1968 Cougars and Mustang with the 3/8" fuel line. Early 1967 cars had smaller 5/16" fuel line, and different routing (through the transmission tunnel), and did not use this part. Mounting bolts included.
