Used radio bezel that will show minor pitting and will most likely need the black area repainted. For use on cars with no console. Two different castings, need to be side by side to see minor difference. Ford part # C8ZA-18842 and C7ZA-18842.

This radio bezel is made by the original Ford supplier and features high quality die cast chrome. For cars without a center console. Replaces Ford Part #:C8ZA-18842-C.

NOS radio bezel for the 1971 - 1973 Mercury Cougar. 

Replace that old, pitted, and cut up radio bezel with this quality concours part. This is a Mustang piece that will work on your Cougar but is slightly different. The easiest way to identify a Mustang bezel from a Cougar bezel is that Mustang had four mounting holes and Cougar had five. Will need slight modification to fit Cougar. Of the 100,085 Cougars produced in 1969 only 1,505 came ordered as "radio delete". In 1970 a higher percentage came this way with a total of 1858 out of 72,365 total production. The total amount of 1969 - 1970 Cougars that came radio delete would be 3363. It is assumed that the majority of cars built radio delete would be the less optioned standard or decor models which would feature a pebble grain finish, color coded to the interior color. This is a decent reproduction of the radio bracket for the 69 or 70. Take a look at the smaller image to see them side by side. The repro is slightly taller and has extra holes in it so it fits other applications. We recommend sticking with good originals.  Why deviate from 100% correct if you don't need to.

This three part bracket assembly attaches to the console and to the stud protruding from the back of your radio. If you do not use it, you may damage your console due to the weight of the older radios. Correct for Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Ford part # C7ZA-18923-A rear bracket, C7ZA-18890-B left hand bracket, and C7ZA-18888-E right hand bracket.

This plastic panel affixes to the radio bezel from the backside. Very rare item... For example, according to Kevin Marti, in 1971 only 1451 Cougars came equipped with this panel. The reason a car would be ordered radio delete from the factory was often the dealer knew he would have his sales people upgrade the customer to a stereo or 8 track.
