Many people seek this part when changing their XR7 over to factory installed AC. This is soft, straight pad with no burns, scrapes or blemishes. This is for the guy that is building a show car and is striving for perfection and wants to do nothing but freshen it up with a coat of SEM Flexible Coating. Often, we will not be able to provide this pad, and almost never will we be able to provide it in some of the more obscure colors, but please do ask prior to purchasing as to what colors we have on hand if it is important that you get the correct color.

This grade A pad for a 71 - 73 is truly a rare find. We only obtain an excellent pad like this every year or two. Grade A pads will have no cracks and will not be curling on the edges. Contact us for color on hand as the picture shown is not the actual pad you will get.

Good used original upper black dash pad for the 67 Cougar. The difference between the 67 and 68 is that the 68 dash pad has a relief cut for the aluminum VIN tag located on the passenger side and 67 did not. Grade B dash will have no cracks, possible missing corner stud and not soft and pliable.

Good used driver quality dash that has no cracks, serious warping or obvious blemishes. These used dash pads are still pliable but will need paint to look fresh, we recommend SEM flexible coating, Landau black. To check colors on hand you may want to call before you order or at least mention the desired color in the comments section of your online order. From the view as seen when sitting inside the car this pad might look decent but when you look at the top side it have cracks, especially at the defroster vents, small blisters and the pad will feel hard on top. This pad will not look perfect even after it has been painted with two coats of SEM vinyl paint as shown here. This pad is not intended for a restored car but is more of a "better than nothing" option. Pictures shown are samples only, not the actual pad you will receive.

The easiest way to identify a 69 lower dash from a 70 is that the square cutout for the steering column measures 6 3/8" wide on the 69 and 7" wide on the 1970. Grade A used no pitting no extra holes. Unfortunately, Scott Drake got bought by Holley Performance, and Holley decided to stop making these. Yes, these were a dealer option available in the day. They cover the painted portion of your door sill that is not covered by the scuff plate. Great way to prevent scratches in your paint or hide existing scratches. These NOS sill plates always have some degree of shelf wear due to the many years they have been shuffled around. The biggest difference you will see with NOS vs. the two different levels of reproductions is the finish. The NOS parts are far less bright and less prone to showing hairline scratches. One other benefit is that NOS sill plates already have the FORD decal in place. Sold individually.

These interchange left to right, they are a mirror image of one another. We recently did a side by side comparison of these so called "concours" sill plates and found very little difference when comparing them to the "economy" version... They both weigh .52 pounds, just like our NOS sill plates. They both have a high of luster, unlike the originals which featured very little "shine". We found the screw holes to be just a tad larger on the economy version but once the screw is inserted you...

Ford never made these in stainless but what a great upgrade! The advantage we see with these is that they do not dent or scratch as easy when you release your seat belt. They also can be polished easily (unlike anodized aluminum). These weigh 1.5 pounds each, triple of what the originals weigh.
