This desirable option was used only on the driver side seat of the LATE 71-73 Cougar and Mustang. This is for seats that have the seat release knobs on the outsides of the seats. Used door / lid for the glove box in the Mercury Cougar, grade "A", no cracks, chips or scrapes. This is just the bare inner and outer door / lid and does not come with the hinge, liner, lock or lock bezel. Interior door panel grab handle or door pull. These are B grade handles. These will have damaged threaded inserts and will not be suitable for use to close your doors. These can be modified by drilling through the handle and installing a small acorn nut. This little emblem was used only on the two spoke steering wheels from 1969 - 1973. We can pretty much guarantee one if not both of the two mounting studs will be broken but because of the way it fits into the recess of the steering wheel pad, gluing it into place is not a problem. We rarely have an emblem this nice in stock for more than a few weeks of any one year as the tail was prone to breaking off as well as the "cats" other limbs. This is one of the smallest "Cougar" emblems ever put on a Mercury Cougar. Only the 70-73 two spoke cat and xr7-G shift handle Cougar was smaller. It is also the most delicate! Very unusual to find the tail and all limbs intact on this fragile little kitty. Silver spray paint will make this cat look new again, they did not have a chrome finish from the factory. Now that we have reproduced this emblem there is little incentive to purchase this over-priced used emblem.

Correct for any 1967-73 Ford product with a tilt or fixed column. The repros are fine, but the end knob is distinctly different. Extremely difficult part to find in NOS form and very sought after. The 1971 - 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7 came with Tier and standard came with Perforated headliner, so make sure you choose the correct texture. This is the "Chrome" trim across the top of the windshield on the inside. This piece will need to be sandblasted and repainted. Many people have chromed these, but because of Federal safety regulations from the factory they were painted satin silver.Ford Part Number: D1ZZ-7603606-A.

There currently are no reproductions of this curved, thin package tray. Included with the tray are both slender strips of thin sound deadener / insulation. These package tray cover boards will not have heavy water damage, but will need paint. Replaces Ford part number D1WY-6546668-A.

This is for seats designed for the center release, if your chrome T handle release knob is mounted on the side of the upper portion of your bucket seat this will not work on your application. Side release linkage can be found here.
