Sold individually, right is the same as left. Rare find but hard to justify the price in light of the quality and price of the reproductions we offer at a fraction of the price. Notice the difference in brightness of these two NOS, fresh out of the Ford wrapper mouldings. This is actually quite common, different batches got different treatment. When you send in your trim to us to be restored it will match as it will all be done in the same "batch".

This is a core five piece set of front windshield mouldings for a 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar and Mustang (except fastback). These mouldings need restoration as they are dull, scratched and dinged. If your Cougar came from a region that uses road salt your buckets are probably rusted in the corners or worse. Our dry "West Coast" buckets are 100% rust free and the mounting tabs are not broken from the removal of stubborn bolts. They will not be bent or damaged in any way. This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. You will notice the reproduction has a larger head (The two on the right in the lower picture are repros) than both of the used versions typically found on 67-73 Cougars. This will be a benefit to those that have elongated screw holes on your wheel lip mouldings from corrosion or improper removal. Great condition used pair of taillights that includes two grade "A" bezels and two used grade "A" lenses with backing plates. Good used pair of taillights that includes two average grade "B" bezels and two used grade "B" lenses with backing plates. No obvious cracks in the lenses but there will be stress cracks that will only be found under close inspection.
