    Description

This solid state sequential kit eliminates all the mechanical motor-driven sequencers and relays used in the trunks of the 1967 - 1968 Cougars. One system module replaces all these parts found in the Cougar trunk: Sequential flasher and motor (the noisy one), directional relay (the big one) and the emergency relay (5 pin). It plugs into the original wiring harness and mounts in the original location without any modifications! These units never fail as they are solid state. We have sold hundreds of them with no problems. Comes with three year warranty.

Here is a link to a great source of information on the subject.

    "Hi Don,
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you and to let you know what a GREAT product the solid state directional unit that mounts in the trunk of the 1968 Cougar is!! It took me less than ten minutes to install and it fixed ALL the problems that I was having with my directionals, which were numerous, ranging from sometimes working to two lights or just one light flashing on each side to the directionals not working at all when the headlights were turned on. Anyway, to make a long story short, I am VERY HAPPY with the product and would advise anyone with a 67-68 Cougar and probably the later ones too, to buy this product right now and save themselves a ton of headaches.

Thanks again for always having the solution to my car problems!"

    -Charles T.

Buying this car in August, I discovered the sequential taillights, hazard lights, and the turn signals didn’t flash. This solid state sequential kit resolved all of the problems with an installation that was fairly straightforward.

Stop wasting time and effort trying to diagnose the old stuff. Just get it.

This sequential turn signal box was plug and play as advertised. The signals work better than new, especially with the plasma led tail lights and solid state K5 relay. I couldn’t be happier.

Much neater, reliable unit than the original. All the plugs were a perfect fit. Yet to see it working due to a bit of restoration work.
