Bolted right in to the factory spot, plugged in exactly like it should. Activated the turn signal lever and it worked! What more is there to say.
works great and can change speed of flash. compared to NOS so quiet
works perfect, easy install!!!
Well worth the money! Don't waste your time on the original mechanical part!
Hi from Finland
Old works slowly and front lights dim(only 9 volts to bulbs)
I buy turn signal solid state relay K5/13A366 too and now all works better than new..i think

its working fine !!!
I liked how the product was a straight plug and play item. Well done and executed. Much better than I expected.
solid unit. plug and play.
Works beautifully! What more can I say?
Exactly as advertised. Was pleased to see easy to read instructions - with additional instructions on label of product. Was as simple as plug and play.
Great product - happy to see my sequential lights working again.
Excellent product, easy to install and rectified sequential taillight concerns.
Works better than the original !! Worth every penny they cost.
went in easy and works perfectly
Easiest thing I ever replaced on my Cougar. Works perfect every time. Another Must have.
The signal system was totally dead, plugged this in and it was working fantastically, hazards too
So my turn signals decided to stop blinking and i thought it was some kind of wiring nightmare. Did a little research and found this gem. Literally took me five minutes to swap out the old unit and problem solved! I picked up the LED light kit while I was at it and the difference is amazing.
Took me 5 minutes to install Worked as needed. I had one light on the Driver's side not in the sequence. They work perfectly now. Worth the money. Also no noise from the back from the original whirring sound.
The unit made my turn signals work correctly every time, no missing lights in the sequence and with the LED bulbs they lights are brighter.
It is great not having turn signal problems anymore. Easy to install and works as said.
While I like the idea of motorized cam activating relays. The price of keeping it operating was too much. Solid state reliability and plug n play install was an easy call.
My stock sequential signal unit finally gave out somewhere between the 19 years I've owned it and the 43 years old it is. The solid state replacement kit was super easy to change out and works like a charm. The hardest part was getting the plugs apart and back together! I would recommend this system to anyone looking to replace the stock system.
When I installed this switch, the original one with the motor worked. Still, I figured better sooner then later. The new solid state turn signal I got under the dash helped the original part work much better. Yes, the new one does in fact plug in....mostly.
That slim blue wire will simply not stay put in that socket no matter how much electric tape you try to put in. I found a very small stainless sheet metal screw and held it in that way. It would be better to include an optional quick splice terminal such as one of those Dorman ones that Autozone has in case it won't stay put on its own.
The bulbs can also become unseated easily and may not all light up when you put it in. Take each bulb out. Make sure it isn't burned. Make sure its seated in the socket and that the socket is seated in the harness. Taking off the harness first makes it easier to change the bulb. Lots of fiddling around is required. One side was fine, the other kept acting up until I got the bulbs seated JUST right.
One other oddity that I noticed is how the hazard blinker behaves. If the turn signal is centered, neither left or right, and you put on the hazard blinker, the middle 2 lights flash only on each side. There is nothing wrong with this. The bulbs are symmetrical and street legal that way. If you put on the hazard blinker and the turn signal rod is either left or right, you'll get the full effect of the flash sequence going down on both sides.
Maybe one setting is for driving in fog and the other is for actually being parked beside the road, but the owners manual (I have the original 1968 manual) says nothing about this whatsoever.
This awesome product finally in conjuction with other parts also purchased from WCCC fixed a 27yr old problem. I've never had working tail lights since I purchased my "68 in 1988, having a simple plug in product for the right price and came with easy to read instructions. This was worth every penney and I recommend this product to any one looking to repair there sequential problem.

I just want to say that I spent a lot of time working on the turn signals trying to get everything to work right. What a waste of time with the old mechanical box. I found this unit and tried it. Real easy to hook up, under ten minutes. All my problems with turn signals was fixed. It was very worth it to me. I proud to show off the beautiful tail lights on this cat.
This unit plugs right into the existing wiring harness. It takes only 10 to 20 minutes to install.
