This die cast bezel with a brushed finish was used from 1969 to the first part of 1970. This is a clean example with no pits or obvious scratches. The engineering number found on the back is C8AB-14505-B.

Used on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Lincoln Continental for the tail lamps or running lights in the rear, located in the trunk drivers side upper rear corner. These clips are found on the power window swtiches of the 69 - 70 Cougar. Each power window switch has one of these clips and one of the J hook clips. 6 small clips required per master switch panel, one for each window switch and two per lock out switch. 

These same clips are also found on the four rocker switches located in the center of the 1969-1970 XR7 dash pad. Do not bend the "J" shaped tab any further than is necessary to release the plug from the back of the switch as these break easily. There are 16 of these used on a Cougar with power windows in 1969, add the 8 in the dash of the XR7 Cougars and some cars have a total of 24.Replaces Ford part number C9AZ-14530.

This is one of the hardest clips to obtain on any year of Mercury Cougar. Two required per bezel for the three bezels located on the passenger door and the two bezels in the back seat. Do not pry your bezels off or these clips will break rather release the clip with a small screw driver by inserting it in the rectangular hole on either side. Four required per car, used only on the driver side master power window switch, must have carbon fiber insulator in between the two plates.

This windshield wiper delay governor mounts to the driver side firewall. To find where this mounts on the firewall, look for two dimples. Wiring is simple, unplug the windshield wiper harness and plug the male and female ends into the appropriate plugs on the controller. Sometimes called interval or delay wipers. *NOTE* Must be used in conjunction with a intermittent wiper delay switch.Part # C9ZB-17C476, MPC #'s C9ZZ-17C476-B or D0ZZ-17C476-B.

This plastic socket is very brittle and almost always breaks when installing a new door jamb switches. Does not fit cars with Warning Group with door ajar option. Simply install by carefully breaking the old brittle plastic socket apart with pliers to free up the wire leads and plug wire leads into the new socket.
