Service replacement A/C belt tensioning pulley with new installed bearing. This adjustable bracket and pulley can be used on all 1968 - 1973 Cougars or Mustangs with the V-8 engine as long as they have the "stamped steel" lateral air compressor support brackets. This bracket will only have the big bearing pulley and may have various casting numbers such as D5TA-8A617, D3OA-8A617, D5OA-8A617, D8OA-8A617, etc.
*Note* All new bearings will have a slight bit of play in them. This is by design, by the manufactures. We have asked the suppliers, and the answer is to allow for possible heat expansion. Even the "Koyo" branded ones, which were used starting in 1968, now have an ever so slight amount of play.
