When it's time to replace your old decaying foam seal, go with our reproduction weatherstrip retainer foam roll with peel off adhesive. Goes between the roof and door / window channel.  These are not technically manufactured to fit the Cougar / Mustang, however these are very close to the originals and come from the manufacturer in a roll that is 4' X 1" X 1/8".  One roll is more than enough to do one side, but you will need 2 rolls to do both sides. ...

These are good reproductions of the originals for your American Sunroof Corporation Golde Sun Roof. The roof opening seal is 89 1/4" x 3/4" and the seal that affixes to the rear edge of the roof panel measures 42 1/2" x 3/4". These have the correct aluminum inner core with rubber bead, wrapped in the correct felt textured, black material. They're are made by the original manufacturer in Germany and will fit all Cougars equipped with the ASC sunroof. Very hard to find seals at a reasonable...

This aluminum backed, tar sound deadener with adhesive is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick and works well behind door panels, at the firewall and under the headliner as a sound, heat and vapor barrier. The four part, die cast vinyl top trim kit requires 17 (right rear under back glass is the odd ball that requires five fasteners) of these speed nut fasteners. These do not work in conjunction with the various dealer installed aluminum vinyl top mouldings. *NOTE* The factory nuts had a drop of silicone or trim adhesive inside the bowl that acted as a seal. This procedure is advised for reinstallation.

This is the 1968 Cougar visor bracket. Not an exact match for 1971 - 1973, but will work. The hole spacing and distance from the windshield is identical to that on the 71-73, the bracket is just 1/8" longer on the side that actually holds the visor tip. Reproduction one year only switch for the 1968 Mercury Cougar with power sunroof (or 1968 Ford Mustang convertible). The XR7 G used a different switch built into the console but the other Cougars ordered with a sunroof in 1968 had this switch mounted to the right of the steering column under the dash.   Knob and bracket included as shown.
