Description

This is the chromed correct die cast construction for your 1969 Cougar, 1970-73 used plastic but these will fit fine and look better than the plastic units. Great Quality. Sold individually, two required per car.

Part of the XR7 package. Available on other hardtop models, part of the Courtesy Light group option. Option included, engine compartment light, trunk light, map light and these rear quarter panel lights for the back seat.

Replaces Ford Part #: C4SZ-13776-B.

*Trivia Dearborn built Cougars would have 'CL' called out on the body buck tag. The body buck tags are normally found mounted to the radiator core support behind the passenger side headlamps.

Good quality replacement

Nearly perfect replacement for the pitted OEM lens on my 69 Cougar. The OEM unit has a one piece wiring end while this replacement has two independent leads. However, they plug right into the OEM wiring harness and you can see the different inside the C Pillar. Comes with OEM bulb replacement.

If your interested in converting to LED bulbs, now would the time for that additional bulb purchase.

Good quality replacement

Excellent appearing replacement for the worn, faded OEM units. My only complaint is the original have a one piece plug but these have two. Not a big deal considering nobody sees it but not perfect.

My existing Courtesy Lights on the back seat pillar Panels looked terrible so I purchased new ones. They were a great match to the original.

C Pillar Courtesy Light

I found this item to be quite difficult to fit to my 73 Hardtop. It required some force to get the metal clips into the circular space where it locates. However, once in place, looks great. I am unable to see any visual difference from the original plastic fittings.
