    Description

Premium grade of idler arm. Fits all 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. If you have loose / sloppy steering, replacing this part could help tighten things up.

Rarely do these last the life of the rest of the front suspension, if you get 60,000 miles out of one you are lucky. The slightest amount of play in this component will translate to major slop in the steering.

    Customer feedback:

Hey, just wanted to thank you for your prompt service. Last Friday 4/24/09 I ordered a 71 - 73 Idler Arm and today (Monday 4/27/2009) I received it. WOW!!! I just wanted to let you know that you guys are way above the rest of the pack in the parts biz. in my book!!! I've been restoring my '72 Mach I Mustang for over a year now and dealing with parts has been an extreme headache. First of all, most don't care if you order the part and second, most REALLY don't care when you get it. Imagine my surprise to receive it today...I almost hugged my postman....Thank goodness she's a lady!!! Anyway, keep up the good work. In these times we never seem to get much positive feedback for our efforts, so I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with your company!!!! THANKS WCCC!!!!!!

    Sincerely,

    Ted Buttweiler Alexandria, MN

    Cons:
Quality Scott Drake part that fit perfectly. The new Moog idler arm had excess play, about 3/8 inch (sourced from the firm you see advertised all over on cable and on the Garage Squad van). Thanks WCC.

Now that its installed and I've driven the car for a few months now, I can say its worth buying. The old one was stock and in apparently bad shape. This replacement is what I was looking for to improve the steering and suspension.
