    This is an original, rebuilt power steering slave / ram cylinder. These have had the seals / internals rebuilt and will in most cases outlast the new ones we and others sell. However, these have not had a cosmetic restoration, so these will show external dings, scrapes and general wear associated with a 50-year-old part located on the bottom of a car.

    If you buy our reproduction ram (Part #:41992), which does not have a core charge, do not throw away your core used ram, as we often can give in store credit for the part.

    The posting says "$100 Core Charge" under the price, but also says "store credit" for the old ram cylinder in the text below - which is it?

    I tried to clarify the text about the "store credit". That is referring to if you buy the new ram, which does not require a core. This sku is a rebuilt original and does require a core / core charge.
