This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

NOS shaft bushing for the grille / headlight eyelid door for the Mercury Cougar, a handfull of other Mercurys, Lincoln and a few Pontiacs. This NOS bushing mounts to the grille for the headlamp operating shafts. New in the Ford box, these hardly ever survive after 40 years. Technically not needed, and most never knew they existed. This single port version was used in the latter part of 1967 and all of 1968. Keep in mind we have units that are not as clean looking but still hold vacuum for about half the price. Cougar part number C7WY-13A185-C headlamp vacuum reservoir.
