This sound deadener is comprised of one layer of tar sound deadener and a layer of Jute. Here is a shot of the original sound deadener pulled (slightly) apart to expose the en-capsuled insulation.  This new OEM style sound deadener is very similar, but is lacking the extra layer of tar on the bottom.  This can be overcome by adding the tar only kit to this kit.  This combination will come by far the closest to OEM than any other kit available! ...
