Good used light used only on the 1967 automatic consoles. The only difference between this shift indicator light without console and with console is the diffuser. The diffusers pull off and interchange. This light harness is also known as the PRNDL light harness (park, reverse, neutral, ...). This gives the thumb release button in your T shaped shift handle its tension. If it is rusted then your button will not return back to its outer position easily. Fits 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and 1965-73 Ford Mustang. Technically this spring fits all Ford and Mercury floor shifters 1965-73. Ford part number C5ZZ-7C300-A. The MPC shows this spring to have a free length of 2-1/16 inches.

We find this smaller early style chromed shifter handle in lots of 1969 Cougars, we believe that there was a transition period before the C8OZ-7213-A was used. This rod is unique to 1970 because it was the first year of the lock out rod. Very hard to come by when you consider there was no 390 option for 1970. Used automatic shifter bezel / indicator assembly for all Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with or without consoles. These are the best used ones from our inventory. These will have some minor issues with the chrome plating and most often need some detailing on the black pebble grain. Attaches to the console shifter bezel on any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. We occasionally have these available when we get broken console bezels. This surround or "U" plate was originally attached with heat to pin connectors. To reattach we suggest using glue.
