    Description

Reproduction rubber grommet for the air conditioning case. This grommet encloses the tubes for the evaporator, and slides into a slot on the heater box. Owners with 1969 A/C please look at your existing grommet for the triangle shape like in the picture. Fits some 1969 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang (late built cars), and should be all 1970-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang.

    Replaces Ford part number C9ZZ-19B552-A.

Check out our video below on how to replace a heater core! We used a '69 Cougar with A/C, but many of the same concepts apply to other years.

I didn't use it as mine looked fine after I removed the heater box and did some disassembly. It appears to be an exact repro and would have fit fine.

Fit just like the original. My original was as hard as a dry biscuit and just about as useful. Nice replacement part, glad it was available.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
