    Description

Made from fuel resistant cork like original.  Modeled off the Mustang \ 69 Cougar gasket which has 5 screws (67-68 Cougar only used 4 screws), but works for any 67-73 Mustang / Cougar. For 67-68 Cougar applications you will have to just screw through the cork. We can say with out a doubt, that in both Dearborn and San Jose, the factory workers did not use the pre-drilled holes when installing the fuel filler necks. We have suggested that the supplier not make them with holes. Probably won't happen though.

    Ford Part #: C5ZZ-9076-A

    Original Cougar Part #:
    C6DZ-9076-A (1967 - Sept 16 1968, 4 hole gasket)
    C5ZZ-9076-A (Sept 16 1968 - end of 69 production, 5 hole gasket)
    D0DZ-9076-A (1970 - 1973, 5 hole gasket)

Here's a good tip! Ken Stein gave us this one...

Install two of these gaskets and your gas cap will not scratch your paint. Original gas caps will always scratch the paint without shimming the filler neck out with the use of a second gasket.

Bought 2 of these so my gas cap wouldn’t scratch the paint but screws are are to short for 2 of these. Stuck with just 1 which works great no scratches.

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • Some chemicals in motor vehicle parts are on the Proposition 65 list because they can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals:
WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
