A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality

This actuator was removed from a Southern California car years ago and was immaculate inside and had no pitting on the shaft. Starting with a clean core is paramount, if it sounds like a tambourine when you start the process your results will not be very good. The inner shaft seal as well as the dust bellows was replaced using the West Coast Classic Cougar kit. It holds vacuum well on the bottom nipple, but the top (like most) will leak down in time. I have extensive knowledge of these units and have refreshed hundreds of them over the years.
