Very rare, early version, over the counter, Group II dress up accessory item for any 289 / 302 small block engine. This over the counter Intake was marketed by Shelby American in the Cougar catalog titled "How To Sharpen Your Cat's Claws". Shelby casting number S2MS-9424-A. The early version differs from the late in that it is missing the three bosses on the passenger side that are seen on the later versions. This intake is identical to the last COBRA intakes that came on the late build GT350’s for 1966 with firing order on front No. 5 runner.
