Quality kit for rebuilding your disc brake distribution block combination proportioning valve on 1970-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. Special molded and round O-rings are made from EPDM (Ethylene Propylene 70 Durometer) which is designed SPECIFICALLY to withstand chemical degradation caused by prolonged exposure to brake fluid. We custom made the spring from the exotic alloy INCONEL, which will never rust and will retain its factory specification compression strength many times longer than the originals.

Hi, how are you? I bought your Seal Kit for my 1970 Disc Brake Distribution Block. I followed your video, and for the most part I am 100% satisfied with the hardware. The only question I have for Don, is the piston on the 1970 that was on the front brake end has the 2 o-rings on the piston, but the the third o-ring was on top of a brass collar that slid on the top of the piston. I am trying to have you confirm that this is correct. Additionally, I updated the rear brake end with the new spring, the o-ring on the bolt and the small grommet inside the bolt plus the grommet that went inside the valve body. I was able to get the piston in with the spring, washer on top, and then I had to muscle the bolt on in order for it to seat. Please confirm if I took the correct direction. Unfortunately the procedure on this particular part isn't detailed. Thanks. Chuck Jacobs
