This is a new reproduction available only in black. Perfect in fit and finish with the only difference from original being it does not have the sprayed on velvet-finish on the inside of the storage box. The correct lighter bezel and receptacle are included.

Only two things differ, the upper lip on the bezel is different in that the originals had a smaller lip on the top and this reproduction is the same on all four sides. The actual screw has a large head which is made for license plates, but is not the factory Ford style of fastener for Concours judged cars. These spacer brackets sometimes come up missing when purchased from discount booster rebuilders. Phillips head oval. 1967-68 consoles use 4 attaching screws, 1969-70 consoles need 6 along the outside, 1971-73 consoles have a total of 8 screws along the outside. These are 1-1/2 inches long like the originals.

Fits any model that used the banded Midland-Ross booster. This Bakelite hub can be seen when you remove the dust boot. It is a very brittle fragile part that gets broken when you drop the booster, attempt to bleed the brakes with the engine running or install the wrong brake pedal.

This brake booster to master cylinder spacer was used on many Ford / Lincoln / Mercury products beginning in 1962.
