This rod is unique to 1970 because it was the first year of the lock out rod. Very hard to come by when you consider there was no 390 option for 1970. Notice this rod features two different part numbers. Adjustable rod that connects the floor shifter to the big block C-6 automatic transmissions. C6 transmissions only, code "U" on your door data plate tag. 428 Cobra Jet engines were the only Cougar engines to receive the C-6 automatic transmission. If you want to install factory shoulder belts on your 1967 Cougar or Mustang, you need to install these shoulder belt brackets. It's a threaded block inserted into the clip that holds it in place. 67 Cougars and Mustangs didn't come with shoulder belts, but the raised area where these brackets attach is still present. This sound deadener is comprised of one layer of tar sound deadener and a layer of Jute. Good used grade "A" core plastic passenger side bezel that may have had one or more very minor cracks repaired. One or more studs on the back may have been repaired as well. Please email us for color on hand, rarely do we have more than one grade A in stock. Grade A will have almost no warping or lifting issues, soft and pliable and will not need repaint. Very hard to find, one year only part.

Perfect condition with no fading, scratches or dents. When the emblem is pulled, you will see minimal difference between the area that has been covered for decades and the area that has been exposed. Very rare find indeed!

A grade pad has not shrunk to the point that the center section will not fit well, it will not be curling and overall will be pliable. We rarely have more than a couple colors on hand but if you state your preference in the comments section we will try to accommodate.
