Here are our reproduction hood latch support brace bolts and U nuts for the Mercury Cougar.
This bracket connects the battery hold down clamp to the fender apron to stop the battery from rocking from side to side. Most cars are missing this crucial part to stabilize the battery. Replaces Ford Part #: D0OZ-10757-A.

Used fuel tank carriage bolt retainer for the 71 - 73 Cougar or Mustang. This retainer is spot welded under the car to secure the carriage bolt in place when installing your fuel tank straps. 2 required per car, sold individually.
New castle nut for all power steering control valve ball stud found on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. 3/4 inch hex nut, with 1/2-20 threads. Connects the Pitman arm to the ball stud on the P/S control valve. Don't forget the cotter pin. Verify your shop manual for correct year torque specifications. We found one source of 28-35 FT LBS. for the Pitman Arm nut to control valve. Ford numbers for attaching nut: 1967-68 351059-S, 1969-70 385002-S.

Reproduction pair of 1 1/8" long hood latch catch bolts for the 1968 Mercury Cougar. Looking through cars with original parts, we've found a few different variations of the types of bolts used. It would be best to measure what you have and purchase the correct length bolts.

This clip is hidden about midway under your console and is used to keep the wire running to the back seat light in place. It attaches to the driver side of the console base. Correct for both XR7 and standard consoles.

These original clips hold better than the reproductions we offer. If you look closely you will see the angle bend is more acute on the originals. For you 71-73 owners with warped panels you will want to use these original clips (at least along the bottom edge) for a tighter hold. Used Front Marker Light Plastic Clip for the 1967 and 1968 Mercury Cougar
Exact copy of the hard to find original. This two piece clip is used to mount gas and/or brake line to floor pans.
This clip attaches by the driver's side front of the fuel tank opening, and holds the fuel line in place near the sending unit. Used on late 1967 to 1968 cars with the 3/8" fuel line. Early 1967 cars had smaller 5/16" fuel line and different routing (through the transmission tunnel) and did not use this part. The reproduction clip for this application has a different appearance, so we wanted to make these used originals available.
Four required per car. *Tip from Andrew Petyak* Found a good product to clean used vacuum lines. Its called Wide White-from Coker tire (or Wesley's White Wall Bleach). Used to clean whitewall tires. Its safe for rubber with no harsh chemicals in it. Cleans up rad hoses without giving them that shiny look. Put small amount in thick cotton towel and gently pull hose through it.
