This screw / stud seems to always be missing. This screw is just a little longer than stock to accommodate installing the Hi-Po air cleaner. Fits most Autolite carburetors. These barrel nuts or clips are exactly like the original ones inserted into the trunk for attaching 1967-68 "Mercury" script, and 1971-72 Mercury Cougar "Mercury" Hood scripts. The manufacturer indicates that these tubular nuts fit 1/8" holes. Pin size on those emblems are 3/32".These clips are also used to attach the 1967 quarter panel emblems.

Used bolt and washer for attaching the crankshaft balancer or damper to the crank shaft. 15/16 inch hex head with 5/8-18 threads and 1.75 inches long. Basically fits all Mercury Cougar engines except the 1971 429 Cobra Jets engines. Front retractor bolt, used in conjunction with two rubber spacer / washers and one washer. The two rubber washers go on either side of the re-tractor mounting hole and the metal washer is against the inner rocker.
Front inner bolt that attaches female portion of the lap belt to the transmission tunnel. Used in conjunction with a silver, fat washer that is slightly cupped.
Inner front bolt, long length to clear sound deadener. Used in conjunction with a thick, gold spacer washer.
